DeeQue, who cares if your eye is trained or untrained as long as you like what you see right? Also thanks I am glad all like it. I hope to get some video of the Yamato next time I am off. Going to take it up to the lake. Ghost, with your love of the mighty Mo have you seen the movie "Battleship" yet?

No not yet. I saw a low budget movie called "American Battleship" or something to that effect. It had the Iowa in it. Some real footage mixed with cg. Movie was bad, but the boat made it worth watching.

Managed to get some flying in today. My self with the Sea Fury and one of the other lads with a Spitfire had a great time dog fighting with a couple of ME 109's

OK Ghost, I broke down the other weekend and got the F8F Bearcat kit. Though it is not a great kit as far as a model is concerned. All the details are there but, it is going to take a deal of modifications to make it a decent flying model.

Now the Skyraider will be easier. I know of 2 one the market with a 53" wing span, working air brakes and flaps and all the bells and whistles. Flying it sounds awsome

Well Ghost, the Bearcat is almost finished. Should have it done and flying the next time I get home in March. Planning a bit of a surprise for you lad on that but don't try to weedle it out of me. You will have to wait and see it.

Well as promised here she is. I had planned to put Ghost's name on as pilot but, could not find lettering small enough. Ah well sorry for that. It was one heck of a job as the kit is not the greatest thought out product and I had to do a host of modifications. Anyway hope you like? Attachments:

Well done my friend! Have you flown it yet? Just wondering how well she handles. Ghost as the pilot? I appreciate the thought anyway! The Bearcat was the sharpest looking of all radial powered aircraft in my opinion. The Seafury a close second. Both of those planes perform really well. Great job Scarecrow. Now, how about a F7F Tigercat!

Don't have any flight footage yet. Trying to get someone to volunteer as cameraman. Most of the guys are too busy flying their own planes. Would rope in Doug but he works mornings when I am able to fly. Though here is my latest acquisition to feast your eyes on. At 59" wingspan and powered by twin 70mm fans it's a monster. Attachments:

WOW, that's a beaut! Now I need to build a P51H or a P47M so we can have some historical dog fights!
